Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a DevOps Engineer/ Principal DevOps Engineer to support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. NASIC requires intelligence defining threats to enable military operations, force modernization, and policy making. The role will focus on installing, configuring, and maintaining the DevOps infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support mission-critical needs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience implementing DevOps and CI/CD technologies
- Experience in configuring and maintaining Kubernetes
- Knowledgeable in development of CI/CD Pipelines
- Experience with Rancher or Rancher Government Solutions (RGS)
- Experience with OCI-compliant container technology and tools (Docker, Podman, etc.)
- Experience developing automation techniques that improve deployment speed and service reliability in the containerized environment
- DevOps or Cloud related certifications
Responsibilities
- installing, configuring, and maintaining the DevOps infrastructure to include GitLab, Kubernetes, Harbor, and related DevOps technologies.
- play a pivotal role in development and maintenance of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- support a production environment on site at NASIC/WPAFB once properly cleared to support mission critical needs.

- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance
- Active IAT Level II certification such as Security+CE or SecurityX (formerly CASP+)
- Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph
- Active CI polygraph
- U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.
