MasterControl is seeking a Junior/Intern DevOps Engineer to help manage its growing infrastructure and work on CI/CD processes in a cloud-native AWS Kubernetes based ecosystem by building Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and release deployment pipelines.
Requirements
- 0-3+ years hands-on DevOps experience working on complex cloud-based CI/CD pipelines (eg. Github Actions, Spinnaker)
- 1-3+ years of experience with AWS or GoogleCloud
- 0-3+ years of experience with Kubernetes (EKS, ArgoCD, Istio)
- 1-3+ years of experience with managing cloud infrastructure as a code using Terraform, Terragrunt, Atlantis, or similar
- Entry level in at least one or more of these programming languages: java, ruby, golang, python, or groovy
Responsibilities
- Understand the design and implementation of an automated CI/CD pipelines leveraging one of these tools: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Artifactory
- Collaborate and engage with development teams to improve the development experience
- Understand the premises around Security, Compliance and Quality gates into deployment pipelines
- Build basic and initial infrastructure as code, drive automated configurations and maintain them
- Ability to learn about the environment and provide basic support for troubleshooting issues related to CI/CD pipelines
- Evaluate, build, and automate new solutions centered around release stability and readiness

- The US base hourly range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00.
