USSTRATCOM requires 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments, including strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. Apogee needs a DevOps IaC Engineer to design, build, and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to support these critical functions.
Requirements
- Knowledge of modern IT architecture and development operations (DevOps) processes, including object-oriented development/tools
- Translation of operational requirements into detailed software/system requirements
- Integration of COTS products into software/system architectures
- Kubernetes & Docker
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Cloud Platforms: Expertise in AWS or Azure
- CI/CD Tools: Keywords like Jenkins, or GitLab CI
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Engineer and deploy the Rogue Blue SWF infrastructure layer (servers, network devices, storage, VMware) across multiple classification levels.
- Build and maintain converged and hyper-converged infrastructure, including storage, networking, and virtualization systems.
- Enable rapid provisioning and deployment of standardized operating environments (e.g., virtual servers, network appliances) using automation.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, testing, and deployments.
- Manage containerized applications with Docker and orchestrate them at scale using Kubernetes.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure reliability.

- Security+ and willingness to obtain ITIL v4 within 6 months of onboarding
