Sun Life is looking to mature its DevOps practices by bringing in an intern to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of technology operations.
Requirements
- Proficient with maintaining and creating CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with software development life cycle and related tooling
- Exposure to CI servers like Cloudbees Jenkins, open-source Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube and others - and their application to create CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with code repositories such as Bitbucket , Github
- Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to writing and implementing Ansible playbooks
- Knowledge of Build Tools like Gradle , ANT, Maven
Responsibilities
- Analyze release process for various squads
- Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Research new tools and capabilities
- Responsible for supporting end-to-end delivery of DevOps activities
- Experience in designing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines for new software projects, right from project kickoff to production deployment and maintenance
Other
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university during the time of the internship (June 2026 - August 2026)
- Currently pursuing a degree in a related area
- Eligible to legally work in the United States
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during intern session
- Good collaborative and interpersonal skills with a willingness to learn
