Lead the assessment and documentation of current and target-state processes and functional requirements across the enterprise to support enterprise goals
Requirements
- Proficiency in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Strong knowledge of programming languages, application servers, database servers, and system architecture
- Advanced expertise in Python and other modern programming languages to address business needs
- Expertise in designing, developing, deploying, and managing applications on EKS
- Hands-on experience with AWS services
- Solid understanding of microservices and containerization
- Familiarity with one or more of the following technologies: J2EE, Java, EJB, ASP, PowerBuilder, C, C++, SQL, CGI, Windows, NT, Visual Basic, Oracle, Sybase, MQ Series
Responsibilities
- Lead the assessment and documentation of current and target-state processes and functional requirements across the enterprise
- Implement efficient end-to-end processes and maximize the use of existing IT assets
- Design, develop, deploy, and manage applications on EKS and other cloud platforms
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on projects of similar scope and complexity
- Align strategic goals and objectives with key business and IT initiatives
- Develop an integrated view of the enterprise using industry-standard techniques, frameworks, and best practices
- Collaborate with customers and enterprise developers to formulate policies and plans that support enterprise goals
Other
- Over 15 years of relevant experience, including leading teams on projects of similar scope and complexity
- Proven experience as a lead developer for projects with comparable responsibilities and challenges
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Professional certifications are highly desirable
