Requirements
- Proficient in Python programming, with extensive experience in its application within electronic trading systems and QA testing
- Advanced knowledge of programming languages, including Unix scripting for automation, monitoring, and surveillance
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Experience with electronic trading technology and knowledge of the Equities Trading Stack
- Familiarity with FPGA systems and architecture
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
Responsibilities
- Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
- Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Develop and implement a robust framework for continuous integration environments, ensuring its adoption and evolution within the team
- Automate testing processes and manual workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy across various applications
- Conduct client, venue certification, and connectivity for various exchanges and markets
- Test and validate individual applications and end-to-end integration, ensuring high standards of quality
- Apply SRE principles to improve system reliability, performance, and scalability, including monitoring, incident response, and capacity planning
