JPMorgan Chase is seeking to enhance, build, and deliver top-notch technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner within the Commercial and Investment Banking's Equities Electronic Trading team

Requirements

  • Proficient in Python programming, with extensive experience in its application within electronic trading systems and QA testing
  • Advanced knowledge of programming languages, including Unix scripting for automation, monitoring, and surveillance
  • Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Experience with electronic trading technology and knowledge of the Equities Trading Stack
  • Familiarity with FPGA systems and architecture
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
  • Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field

Responsibilities

  • Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
  • Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
  • Develop and implement a robust framework for continuous integration environments, ensuring its adoption and evolution within the team
  • Automate testing processes and manual workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy across various applications
  • Conduct client, venue certification, and connectivity for various exchanges and markets
  • Test and validate individual applications and end-to-end integration, ensuring high standards of quality
  • Apply SRE principles to improve system reliability, performance, and scalability, including monitoring, incident response, and capacity planning
