Requirements
- Proficient in Python programming, with extensive experience in its application within electronic trading systems and QA testing.
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced knowledge of programming languages, including Unix scripting for automation, monitoring, and surveillance.
- Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight.
- Experience with electronic trading technology and knowledge of the Equities Trading Stack.
- Familiarity with FPGA systems and architecture, though not the primary focus of the role.
Responsibilities
- Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Develop and implement a robust framework for continuous integration environments, ensuring its adoption and evolution within the team.
- Automate testing processes and manual workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy across various applications.
- Conduct client, venue certification, and connectivity for various exchanges and markets.
- Work with business and end users to review business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Test and validate individual applications and end-to-end integration, ensuring high standards of quality. Provide environment support and offer production support as needed.
- Apply SRE principles to improve system reliability, performance, and scalability, including monitoring, incident response, and capacity planning.
