TrellisWare Technologies is seeking a Digital/Embedded Hardware Engineer to create, test, integrate, and maintain hardware designs for tactical radios, pushing technological boundaries in wireless communications.
Requirements
- Good understanding of Microprocessors, Microcontrollers, SOCs, Programmable Logic and Memory
- Working knowledge of associated analog and power hardware such as audio/video and SMPS circuits
- Knowledge of high-speed busses such as LPDDR, PCIe, USB, Ethernet.
- Knowledge of low-speed peripheral busses such as SPI, I2C, SMBus
- Proficiency in software tools of the trade: Schematic Capture, PCB layout, Digital Timing Simulators, Signal Integrity Simulators
- Experience designing for manufacturability and test
- At least 5-7 years overall experience in designing products with significant digital hardware content.
Responsibilities
- Designs and simulates digital circuits and systems, including associated analog and power circuits
- Creates required design documentation.
- Verifies and Validates product performance through debug, test and analysis at the component, module and system level.
- Develops system and module level requirements and specifications
- Leads small project teams, mentors junior engineers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
