KBR's National Security Solutions team needs a Digital Engineer to provide high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to customers in the intelligence and national security communities, impacting the country's critical role in protecting national security.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and tools used to support requirements development and traceability
  • Certifications in Systems Engineering (INCOSE ESEP, CSEP)
  • Certifications in MBSE (OCSMP)
  • Certifications in Agile Development
  • Knowledge and experience in Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with MILSATCOM, such as AEHF, EPS, WGS, and FAB-T terminal programs
  • Experience with ground and airborne systems, such as terminals and networks

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, translating them into actionable data solutions using Power BI.
  • Develop and design interactive dashboards and reports, ensuring accuracy and visual appeal to support decision-making across multiple computing domains.
  • Perform data transformation, data modeling, and data cleaning using Power BI tools (Power Query, DAX) to prepare data for analysis.
  • Integrate Power BI solutions with other Microsoft Power Platform tools (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps) to streamline workflows and automate business processes.
  • Optimize Power BI performance, managing report refresh schedules, managing Workspaces and Apps, and ensuring efficient data retrieval from various sources.
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and training to end-users, ensuring proper adoption and effective use of Power BI solutions

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain a Special Compartmented Investigation (SCI) is required to be considered for this role
  • BS degree in engineering
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience in systems engineering
  • 4+ years with system specification, verification, or analysis
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Organization capability with ability to handle competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate ideas, recommendations and options to customers, senior leaders, and stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • The ability to work in a secure, confined location (i.e., SCIF)
  • Experience working with military or DoD civilian clients
