General Dynamics Electric Boat is seeking a Digital Enterprise Engineer - Systems to manage and improve data transfers between Electric Boat (EB) and Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS) via the Consumer Repository and Mainframe feeds.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in project management
- Demonstrated experience in configuration management and problem resolution
- Experience with Teamcenter
- Experience with 3G and other Electric Boat configuration management processes
- Experience with technical writing
- Experience working with EB Information Technology, Information Services, Engineering Configuration Management, Production Support
- Experience with SharePoint and other Microsoft Office Suite products
Responsibilities
- Facilitating meetings with key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to establish Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for legacy data transfers to codify current processes
- Identifying technical user requirements and pursuing areas for improvement of legacy data transfers
- Utilizing project management skills to ensure actions critical to legacy data transfers are written, communicated, completed on schedule and support all stakeholders
- Developing and maintaining metrics, diagrams, etc. in support of program needs
