James Moore Advisory (JMA) is looking for a Digital Intern to gain hands-on experience working with the firm's data to deliver actionable insights that inform business strategies, optimize processes, and provide data-driven solutions.
Requirements
- Good understanding of data modeling, databases, and visualization.
- Aptitude for learning and understanding technology platforms and various technical software.
- Fundamental knowledge of the following coding: SQL, Python, or C-Sharp.
- Fundamental knowledge of the following technologies: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, APIs, and cross-platform development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and automate reports using visualization tools to support data-driven decision-making.
- Support data validation, cleansing, and integration efforts across diverse enterprise systems for cross-functional departments.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover insights related to performance metrics, financial trends, and project Key KPIs.
- Design and build dashboards and visualizations to communicate key business insights to internal business units.
- Assist in mapping legacy features to AWS-based platforms, perform QA testing and bug logging, and contribute to onboarding documentation and test development under guidance.
- Develop and document generative AI applications, benchmark tools for educational use, and develop internal GPT-powered assistants.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend automation or optimization solutions, such as RPA, scripting, and process redesign.
