Global Payments is looking to transform its marketing operations by leveraging AI and optimizing its digital marketing technology stack. The company needs a leader to drive the strategic deployment of AI solutions and ensure the robust performance and maintenance of its web assets and marketing platforms.
Requirements
- Proven track record of leading AI-enabled marketing programs from ideation to scale.
- Demonstrated experience in front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and a solid understanding of back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python).
- Hands-on experience with DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipeline implementation and cloud infrastructure (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS).
- Strong understanding of AI/ML fundamentals and their application in marketing.
- Experience with generative AI, NLP, and MLOps pipelines.
- Knowledge of AI governance, ethical AI frameworks, and compliance in regulated industries.
- Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, with a strong understanding of data structures and the role of system data in marketing activation and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end and back-end web pages and components using HTML, CSS (SCSS), JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Design and implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes for marketing assets.
- Manage shared code repositories on platforms like GitHub and Azure.
- Build and maintain key marketing-focused JavaScript libraries for tracking, form handling, and A/B testing (e.g., UTM tracking, form handler integrations, VWO).
- Collaborate with the team to address and mitigate cybersecurity issues on web properties.
- Ensure the smooth operation, continuous improvement, and robust performance of digital marketing platforms and web assets.
- Set up monitoring and alerting (e.g., Splunk Synthetic Monitoring) to proactively identify issues.
Other
- Collaborate with marketing leaders to identify, prioritize, and develop business cases for AI use cases across the customer lifecycle (e.g., personalization, predictive analytics, generative content).
- Partner with central IT to evaluate, pilot, and recommend AI platforms and tools, leading vendor evaluations and technical solution architecture decisions.
- Promote AI adoption across the marketing organization through training, best practices, and playbooks.
- Ensure all AI deployments comply with internal governance, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project/change management skills.
