Apollo is seeking a leader to drive its Credit & Insurance technology strategy, focusing on growth, investment, and integration of new platforms.

Requirements

  • Preferred knowledge of Order Management Systems and Risk Platforms, and familiarity with front-office investment and risk workflows.
  • Strong understanding of technology builds, integrations, and implementations
  • Ability to navigate complex vendor relationships and internal processes to align technology delivery with business strategy and governance.
  • Background in trading or risk roles preferred, with deep appreciation for credit markets, portfolio management, and risk practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Global Credit & Insurance technology strategy, managing vendor partnerships, platform implementation, and internal builds.
  • Oversee the buildout of Apollo’s proprietary front-office platform and ensure seamless integration with vendor solutions to create a unified investment and risk environment.
  • In partnership with the Credit CTO, define and own the technology product vision, roadmap, and project execution across the Credit business.
  • Build and lead a high-performing product team, fostering accountability, transparency, and collaboration across business and technology.
  • Partner with the COO organization and senior business stakeholders to bridge business, technology, and external partners, turning strategic ideas into scalable, efficient, and commercially aligned solutions.
  • Drive adoption, change management, and KPIs/SLAs so platforms are reliable, measurable, and actively used by PMs, traders, and risk.
  • Monitor program progress, proactively ensuring accountability for delivery outcomes by clearing blockers and managing emerging risks.

Other

  • 15+ years of relevant experience in product management, technology, or transformation leadership within financial services.
  • Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams and influencing senior executives.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • The base salary range for this position is listed above.
  • This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance.
