UPMC Health Plan is looking to improve the design, implementation, and evolution of their digital properties to make their insurance products more understandable and usable for their members, while meeting revenue and customer satisfaction goals.
Requirements
- Experience working with web, mobile, or other digital product development in a BA, design, PM, or development role
- Experience working with API's is a bonus.
- Experience with Azure DevOps is a bonus.
- Exposure to project management practices and principles
- Agile/Scrum exposure as a Product Owner or Scrum Master preferred
- Experience with multi-channel digital asset delivery preferred
- Analytics/data-driven background is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Apply KPIs, user research, customer input, business needs, and other sources to the prioritization of product features and an evolving product vision
- Provide input to marketing on the design marketing tests including messaging, creative, channel, design and targeting. When needed, create and deliver training on digital products
- Facilitate vendor evaluation and build vs. buy decisions. Manage products and features through the entire SDLC - unafraid to challenge whether a product/feature is still useful
- Strategically assist in the design and delivery of a holistic and consistent user experience across products. Help to ensure quality through UAT testing. Assist in the development of new/modified processes and procedures to support product strategy
- Maintain roadmaps for digital products. Create and deliver product-centered presentations to diverse audiences. Translate requirements for multiple audiences using Job Stories (JTBD) or other relevant formats. Ensure timely delivery of product goals
- Advocate for the end-user and identify opportunities to improve products to benefit the user experience. Stay current on digital trends and ensure that products remain relevant
- Take on project management and/or business analysis and/or SME responsibilities when those roles are not present. Understand needs of the user, stakeholders, and partners and how they relate to product(s) managed
Other
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Information Technology, HCI, Business, or equivalent
- 1-3 Years experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or related field
- Ability to apply great ideas from multiple diverse sources to find the best solution to a problem or set of problems
- Self-starter with ability to deal with ambiguity and to adapt and embrace change
- Occasional in person attendance may be needed in the office at times
