AEP is looking to enhance the content evolution of its 7 operating company websites to improve user experience for over 2.3 million monthly users and ensure these websites effectively meet both user and business needs.
Requirements
- Understanding of headless content management systems (e.g., Storyblok, Contentful.)
- Comprehension of web technologies such as React, Typescript/JavaScript, REST APIs, and the experiences they enable to set a compelling product vision.
- Rapid prototyping HTML/CSS using browser developer tools to quickly show possibilities to stakeholders.
- Understanding of user-centric web performance metrics such as Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS), bounce rate, page load time, and conversion rate.
Responsibilities
- Define product objectives, collaborating with designers, developers, user experience researchers, and writers to create engaging, user-friendly, and accessible websites.
- Prioritize tasks to ensure team progress is monitored and future expectations are clearly communicated to stakeholders.
- Define accountability for different content types and stages of the content lifecycle.
- Implement processes for managing content from creation to maintenance, ensuring quality, compliance and alignment.
- Identify and track key performance indicators that measure product value, adjust the product roadmap based on data insights, and stay informed about industry trends and potential disruptors.
- Foster cross-team collaboration, alignment, and identification of necessary skillsets for product evolution.
