Southern California Edison (SCE) is looking to build a better tomorrow by creating a Digital Twin of their power grid, reducing carbon emissions, and creating cleaner air for everyone, which requires a Digital Twin Strategy Senior Advisor to develop and execute asset data remediation and improvement strategies.
Requirements
- Ten or more years of experience with information governance and data management practices and processes
- GIS experience including analysis in ArcGIS Pro
- Experience developing and delivering technical presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience developing tools within ArcGIS Online (AGOL) platform including Experience Builder, Survey123, Field Maps, and Dashboards
- Experience using Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) data, point cloud classification, and analysis
- Experience with Records Management Systems (e.g. SAP, Palantir, ArcGIS, SAS)
- Consulting on business issues, including analyzing collected data and SME feedback, developing action plans, and providing recommendations to stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Oversees customer fraud prevention activities, mitigates privacy incidents and misuse of customer information
- Develops and reviews information governance policies, standards, presentations, communications and trainings
- Develops materials for internal and external audits, external assessments and regulatory reporting for the management of company information
- Oversees and ensures projects align to information governance policies and standards
- Contributes to product assessments for emerging technology platforms and new service offerings
- Leads the coordination of data quality remediation plans where data fails to meet established Information Governance standards
- Participates in the development, implementation, and maintenance of a Information Governance process framework that integrates with guidance, policies and processes
Other
- Ten or more years of experience
- Master's Degree in Geographic Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering or relevant field
- Experience leading cross-functional project teams
- Must work and reside in the state of California
