The company is looking for a Dimensional Control Engineer Interiors to develop, design, and execute all aspects of dimensional control, collaborating with Product Engineering and Manufacturing/Operations teams to establish a robust, integrated strategy across product, subassembly, component, and process levels to shape the future of electric mobility.
Requirements
- Experience in executing Datum and Dimensional Control Strategy for an automotive
- Experience in dimensional control/datum strategy/GD&T/quality systems/tooling/operations
- Ability to implement new and innovative manufacturing processes
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement all strategies for datum and dimensional control.
- Manage all aspects related to dimensional control during both the design and manufacturing phases.
- Lead collaboration between internal/external teams and suppliers to meet all project requirements and timelines.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of the Datum and Dimensional Control Strategy for our company.
- Collaborate with suppliers/partners and internal departments to execute the company Datum and Dimensional Contral Strategy and GD&T component requirements.
- Deliver a Datum and Dimensional Control Strategy and process that meets overall product performance requirements, CAPEX and Opex targets, as well as uptime, quality, and customer
- Develop production execution of the Datum and Dimensional Control Strategy including product requirements, process documents, tooling specifications and standards, as well as document lessons learned for future programs and drive continuous improvement.
