Mastercard is looking to strengthen its AI security posture by developing and executing a comprehensive AI security strategy and roadmap to protect AI components by design while enabling innovation through secure and scalable solutions.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in information security, with a strong focus on AI security.
  • Deep understanding of AI technologies, machine learning algorithms, and data protection techniques.
  • Experience in secure coding, encryption, access controls, and threat modeling.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the AI security strategy and roadmap in alignment with enterprise goals.
  • Champion secure-by-design principles for AI systems and infrastructure.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, GDPR) and internal policies.
  • Collaborate on the development and refinement of AI security standards and playbooks.
  • Support regulatory audits and risk assessments related to AI systems.
  • Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to validate emerging threats and security solutions.
  • Stay ahead of advancements in AI security and contribute to thought leadership.
