Amazon Connect Interactive AI and Engagement organization is seeking to reimagine customer engagement by delivering proactive and personalized experiences, and needs a unified science strategy and approach to power 'AI-throughout' customer experiences
Requirements
- MS in CS, Machine Learning, Statistics, Operations Research or similar
- 10 years of hands-on experience in predictive modeling and large data analysis
- Expertise in Machine Learning as applied to large-scale generative models
- Strong ML breadth and depth
- Strong skills with SQL
- Strong skills with Spark/Python/Perl (or similar)
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics or Operations Research (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead the proposal and delivery of an organizational plan aligned to a unified science strategy
- Enable data-driven, AI-powered continuous optimization across self-service, agent assistance, and manager assistance workloads
- Define and execute a strategy that pushes the technical boundaries in generative AI science
- Influence and lead key product investments across Connect service teams and leadership
- Collaborate with cross-AWS science teams, including Bedrock, AGI, Q, and Transcribe organizations
- Own and potentially expand an existing applied science team, and possibly a data integrations team of engineers
- Deliver a unified science strategy that leverages humans in the loop when required to meet business goals
