Everest Global Services, Inc. is looking to shape enterprise-wide reporting and analytics initiatives that drive business growth and portfolio performance by hiring a Director, Data Analyst.
Requirements
- Expertise in Data Warehousing, integration, and reporting tools like Power BI
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud and Data Lake technologies (Databricks is a plus)
- Experience with ETL tools such as MS SSIS and Visual Studio
- Advanced SQL skills and comfort working with structured and unstructured data formats (JSON, XML)
- A strong understanding of financial and operational metrics
- A proven ability to analyze complex data and translate it into business impact
Responsibilities
- Partner with Underwriting and business teams to design reporting solutions that support growth and risk management
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines and dashboards using tools like Power BI and SQL
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and work with IT to implement them
- Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through validation and documentation of data lineage
- Promote best practices in data visualization, KPI development, and reporting standards
- Support data governance and collaborate across teams to improve data quality and usability
Other
- At least 10 years of experience, including 3+ years in the insurance industry
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to present insights to senior stakeholders
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to build alignment across teams
- Confidence managing multiple projects while staying focused on strategic goals
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field
