Globe Life is looking for a Data and Analytics Director to deliver cross-functional reporting utilizing data analytics platforms that create strategic and transformational value for clients, members, and Globe’s core business units with next-gen data technologies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience building and maintaining BI applications and reporting management processes.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Tableau, combination of network configuration, administration, and creator experience preferred, but not required.
  • Experience developing complex statistical modeling for clinical program evaluation, and estimating impacts of various programs, interventions, and strategies on key clinical and business outcomes.
  • Building applications on a cloud-native micro-services architecture.
  • Knowledge of RPA and ability to implement process automation in analytics.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies, algorithms, and data science principles.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for AI and analytics applications

Responsibilities

  • Create a data-centric organizational environment that allows for empowerment of data across citizen data users and visualization creators within the organization.
  • Work closely with Data Engineering by providing business requirements, data analysis and analytics direction.
  • Build strong partnership with business product line leaders to identify opportunities for AI implementation and data-driven decision making.
  • Develop project plans, resource allocations, and budgets for analytics initiatives
  • Lead end-to-end AI and data analytics projects from conception to deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure project success and ROI
  • Package and present recommendations to the executive leadership team through a combination of qualitative and quantitative feedback.

Other

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a quantitative discipline.
  • Ability to be hand-on, but also be a player-coach.
  • Strong analytical and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels within the organization.
  • Financial service acumen & or experience to lead large cross functional initiatives and work with matric teams.
