- Demonstrated success in leading or scaling data product ecosystems using semantic layers, data catalogs, or metadata-driven approaches
- Strong fluency with modern data platforms and familiarity with data modeling, query optimization, and access governance
- Experience with metadata management systems and knowledge graph platforms is a plus
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the strategy for reusable data products mapped to a shared semantic model, ensuring alignment across domains and use cases
- Establish a central inventory and discovery layer for data products with transparent lineage, governance, and usage tracking
- Drive adoption and scale by shaping the foundation for consistent query patterns, reducing duplication, and enabling rapid access to trusted insights
- Lead a cross-functional pod and coordinate contractor teams, empowering delivery through influence and strong collaboration rather than formal hierarchy
- Partner with internal teams and clients to identify opportunities for scalable data solutions that deliver measurable value
- Design and implement a transformation roadmap to align distributed assets with a common architecture – with a focus on opportunity, not remediation
- Serve as an advocate for data transparency, usability, and trust, championing the benefits of interoperable data across internal and external touchpoints
Other
- Exceptional ability to lead cross-functional efforts without formal authority, driving results through communication, alignment, and influence
