Requirements
Deep knowledge of AI/ML methodologies, including model development, data engineering, and deployment pipelines.
Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and advanced data analysis techniques.
Hands-on experience with Generative AI, Deep Learning, and Large Language Models (LLMs), including techniques such as prompt engineering, chain-of-thought prompting, RLHF, and few-shot/one-shot learning.
Expertise with cloud and data platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, and Oracle RDS.
Experience working in Scaled Agile environments, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver high-impact solutions.
Comfortable navigating complex and ambiguous problem spaces with a solution-oriented mindset.
Passionate about staying at the forefront of AI/ML advancements and driving innovation through continuous learning and experimentation.
Responsibilities
Lead AI/ML Initiatives: Manage end-to-end machine learning projects, from ideation through production, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
Identify High-Impact Use Cases: Collaborate with business leaders to evaluate operational processes and identify opportunities where AI can deliver measurable value and efficiency.
Model Development & Deployment: Explore and apply advanced AIML techniques to design, build, and implement scalable solutions. Oversee the transition of models from research to production environments.
Strategic Collaboration: Partner with senior business and technology stakeholders to maintain a robust project pipeline, prioritize initiatives, and ensure successful delivery.
Technology Leadership: Stay current with emerging AI technologies and tools. Work closely with enterprise architects and other AI teams to recommend the most suitable models based on performance, features, and cost.
Domain Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of FFIO’s business processes and data landscape to better inform solution design and implementation.
Communication & Influence: Present project updates, insights, and solution demonstrations to both technical and non-technical senior leadership audiences.
Other
Master’s or Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, or Finance (with a strong ML foundation), with 8+ years of industry experience in data science or machine learning roles.
Demonstrated success in leading data science or ML teams within complex, enterprise-scale environments.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office.
