As the Director of Data Science, Analytics for Merchant Shopping, you will lead a dynamic team driving data-driven strategies in the realm of merchant needs and dynamics, product development, and Applied AI. Your expertise in data science, merchant analytics, commerce, and market expansion will shape the future of our shopping experience and drive growth in new markets.

Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI algorithms to extract actionable insights from large datasets.
- Apply advanced statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms to optimize product features, personalize user experiences, and enhance product relevance.
- Establish KPIs, metrics, and performance dashboards to monitor key business metrics and track progress.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for growth within the shopping vertical, conducting market research, competitor analysis, and user segmentation.
- Provide thought leadership on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data science, consumer behavior, merchant dynamics, and market expansion.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in data science, analytics, and growth marketing.
- 10 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related fields
- 5 years of experience in a leadership role overseeing large-scale data infrastructure and teams.
- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $272,000-$383,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
