Verizon is seeking to manage software delivery and drive product enablement for assisted sales and ordering in the Verizon Business Group, focusing on strategic portfolios such as advanced comms, network services, IoT, CPE, security services, and professional services.
Requirements
- 6 years performing business analysis, developing solution architecture, analyzing business strategy and evolving a portfolio for business customers in the telecom products/services industry.
- 3 years creating data analysis and executive communication artifacts to articulate concepts, strategy and drive alignment.
- 3 years leading global software teams and managing IT vendors, including budget planning, administrative tasks, and resource management.
- 2 years leading architectural and technology design for IT system and catalogs in sales and ordering lifecycles.
- 2 years using ConceptWave or Ericsson suite.
- 1 year aligning Sales and Ordering processes to industry frameworks such as TM Forum.
Responsibilities
- Manage software delivery with both onshore and offshore resource teams and with IT vendors.
- Drive product enablement for assisted sales and ordering for Verizon Business Group in Strategic portfolios of advanced comms, network services, IOT, CPE, security services, and professional services.
- Lead detailed design and development of quoting and ordering integration between wireline and wireless stacks.
- Define and drive architecture, modernization and consolidation of legacy ordering systems.
- Lead current platform and infrastructure strategy for overall current platform and delivering on efficiencies for pre-sales and ordering systems.
- Drive strategic oversight, cross functional team collaboration, and vendor governance for quote, ordering and product enablement organization.
- Improve global team productivity and throughput with DevOps methodologies and agile sprints.
Other
- Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Business Analyst, Solution Architect, or in a related/similar position.
- Hybrid role, ability to work from home.
- Minimum eight assigned office days per month.
