MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. is looking to develop and promote the overall vision, goals, strategies and objectives for the Architecture and Innovation department to improve the value of healthcare through leading edge pharmaceutical and technology related solutions.

Requirements

  • Technology experience with Web technologies (J2EE and .Net), middleware and application server
  • Strong facilitation, negotiation and influencing skills, able to bring people together
  • Demonstrated understanding of business case analysis and ROI experience
  • Polished verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven experience interacting and presenting at the executive level
  • Demonstrated relationship building skills over an extended period of time
  • Prior success leading matrixed teams and partners (internal and external)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and promote the Architecture and Innovation department's vision, goals, and objectives in support of the Company's overall vision and objectives.
  • Select, develop and manage the necessary organization to implement the vision and keep members of the department motivated and focused on achieving goals and objectives.
  • Participate in overall business planning and maintain awareness of industry and technology trends that may influence the company's systems and operations.
  • Establish and foster relationships with partner companies, vendors and department leaders to understand business needs, goals, and how the Architecture and Innovation function can provide a solid foundation for flawless operations, solve business problems and support growth and value for MedImpact.
  • Work extensively with the Chief Information Officer and other members of the SLT team to identify opportunities for innovation and bring about positive change that provides value to the MedImpact organization.
  • Train and support subordinate staff, and others in company on architecture, innovation, integration and interoperability strategies and their use.
  • Develop and implement architecture standards necessary to ensure a rock solid technology infrastructure.

Other

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent; plus 10 years’ related experience; 10 years of SME in respective area(s); (or equivalent combination of education and experience); and 8 years supervisory experience;
  • Supervisory experience may be substituted with 10 years of MedImpact experience plus an appropriate external leadership training program and internal mentorship with a seasoned leader at the Director level or above that must be completed within 12 months in new position.
  • Ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures, comply with corporate policies, goals and objectives, accept constructive criticism, establish goals and objectives, and exhibit initiative and commitment.
  • Be open to travel as needed 10% - 15% of the time.
  • Demonstrate ability to meet or exceed the competencies as listed on the attached sheet.
