- Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) delivering secure Infrastructure as a Service(IaaS) solutions, following Agile methodologies (CI/CD) utilizing industry-standard pipeline automation tools, including Jenkins, SONAR, and Jira.
- DE identifying and resolving Linux and Windows issues, including troubleshooting operating system problems and optimizing network and storage infrastructure performance by supporting critical business applications using Active Directory (AD), Delinea (for privileged access management), and Ansible Web eXecutable (AWX).
- DE using ServiceNow (for Information Technology Service Management (ITSM)), Grafana (for observability visualization), Datadom (for monitoring), and ELK Stack (for application log management) to implement secure, observed, and performant infrastructure that runs business applications.
- DE identifying and implementing technology features and functionalities using Python, Golang, Ansible, and Chef to support essential business IaaS capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Designs and develops responsive web application components and modules, using client-side technologies -- Angular, Bootstrap, HTML/CSS, Shell Scripting, and messaging frameworks -- MQ, Service Oriented/Micro-service Architectures, OpenStack, and Relational Databases (PostgreSQL).
- Works with 10-factor Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), 12-factor applications, and tests environments/frameworks -- Unit, Integration, and Test Driven Development (TDD).
- Develops software applications with programming languages -- Python, Go, JavaScript, AWS, RESTful services, Ruby, MVC Jenkins CI/CD, Configuration Automation Chef, and Ansible.
- Mentors software developers on best practices in the areas of software development, continuous integration and delivery, and infrastructure automation.
- Ensures overall code quality and application stability through code reviews.
- Identifies potential development discrepancies and recommends or implements modifications to the codes developed by software developers while staying within the original project scope.
- Recommends systems and technology to promote widespread collaboration and a spirit of innovation, including open source.

- Builds and promotes a DevOps culture within the company.
- Collaborates with leadership, development and product ownership teams to define technical requirements to ensure rapid delivery of features and functionality.
