Requirements

  • Experience in auditing, policy development, and risk management frameworks
  • Ability to evaluate controls, conduct impact assessments, identify control gaps, remediate risk and navigate resolution of potential competing objectives
  • Ability to analyze and interpret rules, regulations and policies
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and regulatory developments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and mitigate complex compliance risks
  • Experience managing diverse teams, and comfort navigating complex, highly-matrixed organizations
  • Ability to develop talent and appropriate subject matter expertise

Responsibilities

  • Drive the implementation and adoption of Citi’s Compliance Transformation Plan
  • Provide program management coverage, input on strategic direction, and reporting and deliverable coordination for initiatives and programs supporting the Compliance Risk Management Framework
  • Lead the team in drafting and implementing annual fair lending and privacy compliance plans
  • Lead the development of fair lending and compliance training
  • Lead the oversight of the tools and technology management for Fair Lending, Privacy and Gen AI
  • Lead the development of Senior Management and Board reporting
  • Collaborate with ICRM Business Execution Lead, Controls Lead, and CCO Chief of Staff to ensure consistent implementation and execution of internal activities

Other

  • 15+ years of experience in audit, compliance, or other control-related function in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or a combination thereof preferred
  • Previous work as an auditor or regulator is preferred
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging
  • Demonstrated ability to assess complex issues through root cause analysis and other analytical techniques, structure potential solutions, and drive to resolution with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to influence and lead people across cultures at a senior level using sound judgment and successful execution, understanding how to operate effectively across diverse businesses
  • Bachelor’s degree, Advanced degree (e.g., MBA or JD) is preferred
