Anduril Industries is looking for a Director, Imaging Software to lead the coordination of resources and team build-out for successful execution across programs and internal R&D efforts, guiding the team through product development, establishing long-term goals, and owning the technical architecture for the group. The role involves developing unique technologies, algorithms, and meeting the needs of unique sensors within the DOD space, strategically solving complex technical problems through leadership and owning the development of products that will have a tremendous impact.
Requirements
- Strong engineering background, ideally in areas/fields such as Computer Vision, Imaging, or Sensor Processing.
- Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and detailed requirements.
- Capable of solving complex technical problems with little oversight.
- Experience leading cross discipline software engineering teams executing across many disparate lines of effort in highly regulated industries.
- 10+ years of experience in a senior role leading software programs from initial concept through test and delivery to customers.
Responsibilities
- Own the coordination of all resources and the build out of the team for successful execution across programs and internal R&D efforts.
- Guide the team through product development, establish long term goals, as well as be own the technical architecture for the group.
- Be involved in developing unique technologies, algorithms, and meeting the needs of unique sensors within the DOD space.
- Strategically solving complex technical problems through leadership and owning the development of products that will have a tremendous impact.
- Tackling the most difficult problems involving computer vision, perception, electro-optical, infrared, and sensor data.
- Develop state-of-the-art imaging systems across both hardware and software.

- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
- Clear communication and organizational skills including documentation and training material.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
- Experience supporting software development and acquisition within the United States Intelligence Community or Department of Defense.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.
