Requirements
- Strong understanding of data governance, architecture frameworks, and emerging AI technologies.
- Experience with data architecture, enterprise analytics, or AI-related leadership roles.
- Experience managing external strategic partnerships (e.g., Databricks).

Responsibilities
- Define and execute Xylem’s enterprise data strategy, architecture, and data model to support AI and advanced analytics across the organization.
- Lead the integration of data platforms with AI initiatives, ensuring cohesive deployment of AI agents, co-pilots, and LLMs across enterprise and operational systems.
- Manage the enterprise Data Lake platform (Databricks), ensuring secure, governed, scalable, and policy-compliant access to structured and unstructured data.
- Drive data governance by sponsoring and leading the Data Governance & Analytics Council (DGAC), aligning data use cases and roadmaps across enterprise process areas.
- Oversee the development of enterprise analytics tools and dashboards to support centralized reporting and enable self-service data access.
- Manage strategic vendor relationships (e.g., Databricks) to align platform capabilities with Xylem’s evolving AI and data strategy.
Other
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years in data architecture, enterprise analytics, or AI-related leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success in driving AI and data transformation in a large, global enterprise.
- Proven ability to align technology with business strategy, influence cross-functional teams, and communicate at the executive level.
- Ability to work in an inclusive environment free from discrimination or harassment.
