Akumin Operating Corp. is looking to solve the problem of developing and executing a long-term strategic plan for its Molecular Imaging service line, including implementing growth initiatives, operational execution, and ensuring clinical excellence across its business units.
Requirements
- Understanding of Molecular Imaging (PET/CT imaging, SPECT, and radioactive isotopes)
- Familiarity with radioimaging market dynamics
- Experience structuring programs with Rebate structure
- Experience managing vendor relationships
- Experience in outpatient imaging or mobile imaging
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and industry best practices
- Experience with contract negotiations related to modality services
Responsibilities
- Define the Molecular Imaging service line strategy in alignment with company growth objectives, market trends, and emerging technologies.
- Develop business plans, including service expansion, equipment lifecycle management, and technology upgrades.
- Develop and manage comprehensive modality programs – coordinating resources, timelines, and activities.
- Establish a dashboard to track progress, identify challenges, and ensure alignment of objectives.
- Track key program metrics including modality volume, procedure mix, and commercial impact
- Lead the execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring smooth implementation in Fixed Radiology centers, Mobile Radiology services, and Oncology programs.
- Coordinate equipment planning and partner with Procurement for capital equipment and Tracers, to enable growth.

- Proven track record in developing and executing strategic plans in a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
- Travel may be required, with exposure to environmental hazards such as noise
