The Director of Advanced Analytics is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of advanced analytics initiatives to inform business strategy and drive data-driven decision-making for ASU Enterprise Partners.
Requirements
- Experience with A/B testing, experimental design, and causal inference.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and data enrichment.
- Experience with data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
- Strong programming skills in Python or for data analysis and model building support.
- Familiarity with statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, SPSS).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) to effectively communicate findings.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall advanced analytics strategy, aligning with the broader business objectives.
- Identify and prioritize key analytics initiatives that will deliver the greatest impact.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of data analysis and insights provided to stakeholders.
- Utilize a variety of statistical and analysis techniques to solve complex business problems.
- Translate complex data insights into applicable business strategies.
- Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, data governance, marketing, and operations, to identify opportunities and deliver analytics solutions.
