Aspire General Insurance Company is looking to enhance its pricing, underwriting, claims, and customer retention strategies through the creation of proprietary models and tools using predictive analytics, machine learning, and statistical inference.
Requirements
- Expertise in predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis.
- Strong command of tools such as Python, R, SQL, and modern data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Deep knowledge of auto insurance data from both operational and analytical perspectives.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Databricks) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of regulatory considerations in insurance (e.g., rating compliance, model governance).
- Advanced data knowledge, bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Actuarial Science or Statistics, with requisite work experience or course work in Data Science and Software development.
- Solid understanding of Actuarial concepts, up to exam 5 concepts, is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop intellectual property to deepen Aspire's competitive moat using predictive analytics, machine learning, and statistical inference.
- Create data-driven tools to amplify Aspire’s existing distribution, product, and claims expertise.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of predictive models and advanced analytics (e.g., pricing, underwriting, claims, broker analytics, fraud, customer retention).
- Ensure model transparency, interpretability, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Partner with IT and data engineering to improve data availability, quality, and governance.
- Identify and integrate external data sources, new technologies, and tools to enhance decision-making capabilities.
- Stay current with industry trends and innovations in insurance analytics.
