Flex, a FinTech company, is looking to solve the problem of inflexible and expensive rent payment experiences by creating a better rent payment experience and empowering renters with flexibility over their most significant recurring expense.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or revenue-focused quantitative research.
- 7+ years leading data science or analytics teams, including managing managers and scaling functions that support commercial teams.
- Deep technical expertise in SQL and Python, with experience in analytics and machine learning tools (dbt, Airflow, Spark, MLflow, etc.).
- Experience applying machine learning and predictive modeling to revenue forecasting, customer retention, or sales efficiency.
- A Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or Applied Mathematics) is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to distill complex analysis into actionable insights for commercial and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Lead and expand a high-performing team of data scientists and analysts supporting sales, business development, and customer success operations to design data-driven strategies that accelerate revenue growth and expand market share.
- Develop and refine forecasting models, pipeline analytics, and sales performance metrics to guide quota planning and execution.
- Build frameworks to evaluate partnership opportunities, pricing strategies, and go-to-market experiments.
- Design and implement models that predict churn, expansion, and customer health to improve retention and upsell outcomes.
- Create and institutionalize best practices for sales experimentation, revenue analytics, and operational reporting.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, bringing analytical rigor to strategic decision-making.
- Mentor and grow senior technical talent while fostering a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and measurable business impact.
