The PyTorch Foundation is looking to build and nurture relationships across its diverse project ecosystem, including the PyTorch framework, vLLM, DeepSpeed, and other innovative initiatives, to shape the future of AI and deep learning technologies.
Requirements
- Strong technical background in AI/ML, with hands-on development experience
- Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts
- Experience building relationships within technical communities
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to evaluate technical projects
- Understanding of open-source project evaluation and growth strategies
- Experience with PyTorch or similar deep learning frameworks
- Background in machine learning research or development
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with AI researchers, developers, and engineers across all Foundation projects
- Facilitate technical discussions and knowledge sharing across multiple project communities
- Work with engineering teams to gather and prioritize community feedback for each project
- Support community members in their technical journey with Foundation projects
- Identify potential synergies between different project communities
- Evaluate and recommend new open-source projects for potential Foundation support
- Present technical talks and participate in panel discussions at major industry conferences
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in developer relations, technical community management, or similar roles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience presenting at technical conferences and industry events
- Based in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area
