Cotality is looking for a Platforms Director to lead their Global Enterprise Shared Platforms team, aiming to improve the speed, intelligence, and people-centricity of the property industry through technology.
Requirements
- A deep understanding of solutions architecture, design patterns and Cloud Technologies, including specific experience with CI/CD, ELK stack, Kafka, GKE, and Redis.
- Proven hands-on experience and a strong understanding of the following technologies:
- CI/CD: Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines.
- Observability: The ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
- Data Streaming: Kafka.
- Container Orchestration: Kubernetes, with specific experience in GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) and cross-cloud capabilities.
- In-Memory Databases: Redis.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of enterprise shared platforms, including development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and optimal performance of all platforms through robust monitoring and management.
- Develop and manage the infrastructure budget, driving strategic R&D efforts to innovate and improve platform capabilities.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs and deliver innovative solutions.
- Implement and enforce best practices for platform management, operations, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams of Technical Architects, Engineers, and other technical professionals.
- Manage the infrastructure budget, leading R&D initiatives, and fostering a culture of innovation within the team.

- A minimum of 10 years of experience in platform management or a related role, with a strong track record of overseeing enterprise platforms.
- Extensive experience in project, program, budget, and people management.
- Exceptional leadership, team management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
