Naterra is looking to shape and execute its long-term product innovation strategy to drive growth across skincare, personal care, and baby care categories by guiding a team that oversees product development, partnering with suppliers and manufacturing partners to source the latest formulas, packaging technologies, and product concepts.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration/project management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the long-term innovation strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with Naterra’s brands vision and growth priorities, based on trends, insights and market data.
  • Lead the product innovation pipeline, ensuring a balance between short-term wins and long-term growth platforms.
  • Ensure the team produces high-quality innovation briefs and delivers on business objectives.
  • Act as the central orchestrator across internal teams and external partners to bring new formulas, packaging, and technologies into the Naterra portfolio.
  • Partner with supplier R&D labs to secure the newest innovations and adapt them for commercial success.
  • Stay attuned to the competitive landscape and adjacent categories, leveraging emerging technologies to inform proactive innovation
  • Translate consumer insights, trends, and category dynamics into breakthrough product opportunities based on market data.

Other

  • This is not a remote or hybrid role. Please note that the person in this role will be required to work in-office at our Coppell, TX location 5-days per week.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Innovation Managers, creating a culture of accountability, curiosity, and performance.
  • Partner with Regulatory and Quality teams to ensure all innovations meet safety, compliance, and sustainability standards.
  • Partner closely with the Integrated Innovation Management team (Project management) to ensure milestones, stage gates, and launches are flawlessly executed.
  • Build strong working relationships with Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance to ensure alignment from concept through commercialization.
  • Implement and enforce Product Innovation Review processes, including preparation for leadership Gate meetings.
  • Oversee budgets, resources, and timelines, ensuring all launches are delivered on time and within cost targets.
