Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3+ years leading AI/ML-powered products and teams.
- Proven ability to deliver AI/ML solutions that directly improve user experience and measurable outcomes, with strong technical fluency in concepts like LLMs, NLP, and generative AI.
- Track record of building products from 0→1 and scaling them in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to zoom between big-picture vision and hands-on execution; willing to roll up your sleeves and start lean with limited resources.
- Ability to build, motivate, and lead a high-performing, lean team that thrives in a fast-moving environment.
- Deep customer empathy and ability to prioritize solving real user problems over chasing shiny features.
- Exceptional communication skills—you can inspire engineers, executives, educators, and customers alike.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the vision and roadmap for Paper’s tutoring and learning solutions.
- Scale GROW, our high-impact tutoring product, to deliver measurable student outcomes and meaningful ROI for districts.
- Translate advances in AI/ML into impactful features that enhance personalization, tutor efficiency, and learning insights.
- Partner closely with engineering, design, and data science to scope, prioritize, and deliver high-quality features with speed and rigor.
- Define success metrics, experiment systematically, and apply insights to drive continuous improvement of our product solutions.
- Lead with a builder’s mindset, rolling up your sleeves to write PRDs, deliver demos, or debug workflows when needed.
- Ensure products are designed with ethical, transparent, and equitable use of AI at their core.

- This role reports to the CEO and is fully remote, with flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S. or Canada.
- Engage deeply with districts, educators, and students to uncover needs, validate solutions, and ensure our products drive measurable impact.
