First Horizon Bank is seeking to transform its digital banking capabilities and is looking for a Director of Product Management to drive this transformation by introducing and scaling modern product management practices and managing the digital platform product team.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product development lifecycles.
- Experience working in regulated industries, especially financial services, preferred.
- Strong customer focus and ability to translate insights into product vision.
- Proven experience in setting and delivering against strategic goals.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of managing stakeholders at all levels.
- 7-10+ years of product management experience
- 5+ years of managerial experience
Responsibilities
- Lead the digital platform product team, responsible for enabling capabilities across digital product teams and core platform services that power consumer and small business digital banking experiences.
- Champion and drive the implementation of our product operating model, including team structures, rituals, cadences, documentation standards, decision frameworks, and product excellence practices.
- Define and maintain standard operating procedures for product teams, including product reviews, OKR alignment, and roadmap hygiene, enabling a consistent and scalable approach to product delivery.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to increase velocity and reduce friction, optimizing how teams shape, prioritize, and deliver value.
- Lead digital release management and user acceptance testing functions, ensuring disciplined, predictable releases in close coordination with engineering and enterprise technology partners.
- Support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) initiatives to improve quality and deployment frequency.
- Lead product operations initiatives including capacity planning, KPI instrumentation, backlog health checks, and tooling strategy
