Fiserv is looking for a Director of Software Development to lead a team in creating cutting-edge solutions that address complex business challenges within the Fintech and payments industry.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software development and programming
- 4+ years of experience leading teams
- 4+ years of experience in Python, or similar programming languages
- 4+ years of experience in SQL databases
- 4+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services, primarily AWS
- 8+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of developers, providing direction and guidance to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software applications that align with Fiserv's strategic goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
