Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of technical excellence and product delivery.
  • 7+ years of experience in engineering leadership, including directly managing managers and scaling large teams.
  • Extensive experience building and delivering complex, customer-facing software products at scale.
  • Strong strategic and product judgment, with the ability to balance near-term execution with long-term technical investments.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence, collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Design, Sales, Customer Success, and Executive stakeholders.
  • Track record of defining and driving engineering and organizational roadmaps, with measurable business impact.
  • A builder mindset with a history of scaling teams and systems in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the long-term vision and technical strategy for critical areas of NexHealth’s platform.
  • Guide system architecture, scalability, and maintainability across product domains.
  • Champion best practices in code quality, testing, reliability, and security.
  • Own the delivery of complex initiatives across multiple teams, ensuring clear alignment between product goals and technical execution.
  • Scale engineering teams responsible for building customer-facing applications and developer infrastructure.
  • Influence the direction of the product and ensure the architecture supports NexHealth’s growth and innovation goals.
  • Balance technical depth with product intuition and organizational leadership.

  • Hire, grow, and retain top engineering talent; mentor emerging leaders; and foster a culture of excellence, ownership, and innovation.
  • Partner with Product, Design, and Go-to-Market teams to deliver best-in-class customer experiences.
  • Shape organizational structures, career paths, and team processes to promote high performance and strong engineering culture.
  • Demonstrated success in people leadership, including coaching, performance management, and career development.
  • Strong ownership and ability to take initiative in ambiguous, evolving contexts.
  • Bias for action and data-driven decision making.
  • First-principles thinking applied to both technical and organizational challenges.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
