Strider Technologies is seeking an engineering leader to guide and scale their product-focused development teams, responsible for building and maintaining secure, scalable software systems that power their mission to protect innovation in a new era of global strategic competition.

Requirements

  • Solid software foundation with modern engineering practices in distributed systems, architecture, and scalability.
  • Extensive experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React.js, Node.js.
  • Extensive experience with Database engines such as SQL Server, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch.
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), CI/CD, and engineering tooling.
  • Experience shaping process and delivering high-quality software in an agile environment.
  • Experience with penetration testing and updating software to fix found security vulnerabilities preferred.
  • Experience with SOC2 and ISO certification compliance standards preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and grow multiple teams of product focused software engineers and QA engineers
  • Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of team members.
  • Lead and manage large-scale, complex projects with broad organizational impact and long-term business implications.
  • Build, mentor, and retain top technical talent while fostering a culture of innovation, growth, and inclusion.
  • Manage technical risks, reduce debt, and optimize for long-term scalability and maintainability.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Serve as a technical escalation point and steward of engineering process and tools.

Other

  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role; 8+ years overall in software engineering.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills — coaching, feedback, career development.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration across technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with strategic intelligence, data-heavy platforms, or regulated industries.
