TPG is looking to develop a deep understanding of user behavior, needs, and motivations across all product surfaces, and make evidence-based decisions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in UX research or similar role conducting primary research in an applied setting.
- Fluency in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Experience working closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and Strategy functions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of UX Researchers and managed the partnership with TPGs 3rd party research partners.
- Own the research roadmap, balancing generative (strategic) and evaluative (tactical) studies across shared-capacity models.
- Partner with the Director of Product Strategy on long-term opportunity framing and foundational research.
- Support Product Managers and Designers with research-based validation, usability testing, and user-behavior insights as they build and successfully ship B2C products.
- Maintain a centralized insight repository and enable insight-sharing across pods and leadership.
- Establish research standards, methodologies, and ethical practices.
- Represent the voice of the user in cross-functional leadership discussions.

- Ability to operate in both strategic discovery and tactical validation work.
