TotalEnergies is looking to solve the problem of maximizing performance and driving the future of clean energy in their US Renewables business, specifically in the areas of PV, BESS, and wind energy.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in PV, BESS, or wind energy performance engineering/management.
- Experience with data acquisition, energy modeling, performance analytics, and renewable energy software tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience with Python, R, SGL, or other programming languages.
- Familiarity with the full suite of renewable energy technologies (PV, BESS, Wind, Distributed Solar).
- Experience with data analysis and industry best practices to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize energy production.
- Knowledge of APM, CMMS, and other software tools used in performance management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Technical Performance Management program for our operating portfolio (PV, BESS, wind) across the US and Canada.
- Implement performance improvement strategies using data analysis and industry best practices to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize energy production.
- Oversee analytics, dashboards, and reporting to track KPIs and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Manage software tools (APM, CMMS), own the budget, and interface with IT support.
- Enhance risk mitigation through predictive maintenance and condition-based monitoring.
- Provide timely, accurate reporting on technical performance, including contractual KPIs.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, especially the integration of AI into performance management.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, etc.), Data Science, or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Clear oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities, work under pressure, and demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, supervisory, and coaching skills.
- Based in Austin, Texas.
