Linxup is looking for a Director of Product Development to lead the product development lifecycle, work with cross-functional teams, and drive product initiatives to deliver solutions that meet customer needs and simplify complicated processes.
Requirements
- Solid technical background with an understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web/mobile technologies
- Software as a Service (SAAS) product experience required
- Experience in field service business a plus
- Experience working side by side with hardware technology and software development a plus
- Understanding of product development processes
- Ability to grasp multiple product requirements
- Keen sense of user experience and ability to empathize with customers
Responsibilities
- Work with Product Management to create requirements for new product offerings
- Work with Engineering Management to estimate the level of effort for all roadmap items
- Work with your Product Delivery team to translate requirements into actionable stories
- Create and manage the roadmap for multiple product lines
- Oversee and participate in the agile development process and contribute to the project prioritization
- Work with QA/Testing to develop, document and test solutions and business cases
- Lead cross-functional project teams from product concept through final product delivery
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field - Graduate Degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years experience in managing a team of product owners in a Software-as-a-Service organization required
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing direct reports
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal skills
- Organizational and time-management skills required
