Cinemark is seeking a Director of Product Management to define the strategy and drive the vision for their Point-of-Sale software suite, aiming to revolutionize the movie-going experience by addressing the needs of central business leaders, theaters, and customers, while balancing short-term improvements with long-term strategic goals.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in agile product management for web, mobile, or enterprise software development
  • 4+ years with point-of-sale technologies in high-volume companies with digital and in-store experiences
  • Extensive experience in key product management functions, including writing user stories, crafting wireframes, market research, and interpreting metrics
  • General understanding of modern application architecture and IT infrastructure concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Build and validate the vision for Cinemark’s point-of-sale ecosystem, aligning it with our broader aspirations.
  • Drive success in broader strategic initiatives and programs dependent on the point-of-sale ecosystem.
  • Elevate our Product function by adopting AI tools, being data-driven, and strengthening our discovery practices.

Other

  • Guide and mentor a team of Product Owners, ensuring their success and growth within the company.
  • Partner closely with business leaders to provide thought partnership, transparency, and guidance on meeting objectives.
  • Work with other functional leaders to improve processes and overcome constraints.
  • Proven track record of leading a team of Product Owners, taking ownership of projects, defining scope, driving results, influencing leadership, and rolling up sleeves to get the job done.
  • Direct experience with point-of-sale platforms for Restaurants, Entertainment, Hospitality, and/or Airlines is a plus.
  • Ability to think both high-level and “in the weeds,” with a knack for creative problem-solving and continual improvement.
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
