Capital One is looking to solve the challenge of artifact and vulnerability management across foundational software components by transforming their Continuous Automated Refresh (CAR) platform from a program to a mature, scalable product. This initiative aims to automate the detection and remediation of vulnerabilities at their source, reducing operational burdens on engineering teams and freeing them to focus on innovation.
Requirements
- Experience leading product management for developer platforms, DevOps tools, or large-scale enterprise platforms.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, particularly in application security, vulnerability management, or software supply chain security.
- Experience translating complex business strategy and technical challenges into a clear, data-driven product roadmap.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and risk management.
- Excellent communication skills with a track record of engaging and influencing senior executives.
Responsibilities
- Define and champion the product vision and multi-year strategy for automated vulnerability remediation at Capital One.
- Lead the product roadmap for the Continuous Automated Refresh (CAR) platform, transforming it from a program to a mature, scalable product.
- Partner closely with senior leaders in Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Risk to ensure the platform meets the complex security and operational needs of a large enterprise.
- Deeply understand the pain points of our internal software development teams and use those insights to build solutions that make the secure path the easiest path.
- Define, monitor, and evangelize key performance indicators, measuring the reduction of toil, decreased time-to-remediate, and the overall impact on developer productivity and satisfaction.
- Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and stakeholder engagement to delivery, launch, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as the enterprise-wide subject matter expert on the product, effectively communicating its value proposition and progress to stakeholders at all levels.

- At least 7 years of experience working in Product Management
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field or A Master's Degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
