Vultr is looking for an experienced Director, Product Marketing to lead the go-to-market strategy and execution for their cloud infrastructure products, aiming to shape product positioning, pricing, and packaging, and drive successful product launches.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure fundamentals, market dynamics, and competitive pricing models.
  • Strong background in pricing research, financial modeling, and competitive analysis, ideally in the cloud infrastructure (IaaS) industry.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence dashboard development (Microsoft Power BI preferred) and advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience conducting both quantitative and qualitative market research, including large-scale surveys and customer interviews.
  • Experience successfully launching and scaling technology products from inception to market adoption.
  • Proven track record (8+ years) in product marketing or related strategic roles, with at least 3+ years in a leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional executive stakeholders and drive alignment on go-to-market strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of go-to-market strategies for new and existing cloud infrastructure and managed platform services, from concept through launch and ongoing adoption.
  • Partner closely with the cross-functional executive team to define and execute pricing and packaging strategies that maximize customer acquisition, revenue growth, and retention.
  • Oversee the creation of competitive positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions that clearly differentiate Vultr in the market.
  • Direct the development of sales enablement materials, including sales language, product sheets, battle cards, and training resources.
  • Define, track, and measure pricing performance, providing actionable insights to drive margin improvements and market share growth.
  • Create and oversee models and dashboards to predict the impact of pricing and packaging decisions on customer acquisition, revenue, and usage.
  • Manage all product and pricing information across marketing channels, ensuring accuracy and alignment with brand and product strategy.
