Requirements
In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (e.g. AS9100 experience, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Experience with regulatory compliance and audit processes
Responsibilities
Establish, execute, and mature the Quality function through a Quality transformation strategy for LHX, focusing on proactive quality management and creating a more effective function that serves the business.
Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s quality management system (QMS) in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Develop an enterprise-wide supplier quality strategy, including supplier development, recovery, audits, and participation in supplier selection.
Provide guidance, training, and oversight on Zero Defect Plans (ZDP) management; create, update, and ensure compliance with internal quality policies and procedures.
Define metrics and reporting for the enterprise and establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality metrics.
Oversee internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
Other
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.
