Salesforce is looking to solve the problem of creating seamless experiences for builders and developers to author, evaluate, and manage AI-powered agents, and is seeking a Director/Senior Director of UX Product Design to lead the vision, strategy, and execution for the Agentforce Development Platform
Requirements
- 10+ years in UX/Product Design, ideally with 2+ years leading large, multi-disciplinary design teams
- Proven experience designing for developer and technical personas (SDKs, APIs, CLIs, IDEs, or platform tools)
- Experience with AI authoring, evaluation frameworks, developer tooling, and agent lifecycle design
- Demonstrated success collaborating across backend platform, client, runtime, and evaluation teams to deliver cohesive, integrated solutions across the technology stack
- Exceptional storytelling and influencing skills; able to align diverse teams around a shared vision
- Experience designing consumer-grade interfaces in enterprise or platform contexts
- Background in enterprise SaaS, AI, or demonstrated ability to lead organizational transformation from waterfall to agile
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the end-to-end UX strategy for Agentforce Development, spanning agent authoring, evaluation, SDK/API tooling, and lifecycle management
- Design for authors and builders across the low-code to pro-code spectrum, ensuring seamless transitions between declarative tools and developer workflows
- Create experiences that bring consumer-grade quality to complex enterprise and developer environments
- Partner with Product and Engineering to evolve the evaluation framework and tooling UX, enabling builders to measure, debug, and improve agent performance with transparency and trust
- Drive a unified design system aligned with the Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS)
- Apply systems thinking to create scalable design frameworks, patterns, and evaluation flows
- Integrate user research, data, and iterative feedback loops to optimize agent authoring and testing experiences
